New Shepard is a reusable suborbital launch system designed by Blue Origin, a private aerospace manufacturer and spaceflight services company founded by Jeff Bezos. The system is capable of carrying astronauts and payloads to an altitude of over 100 km, the edge of space. New Shepard has been tested numerous times, with its first successful crewed flight taking place in July 2021, carrying Jeff Bezos, Mark Bezos, Wally Funk, and Oliver Daemen to space.
