Eero Saarinen was a Finnish-American architect and industrial designer known for his futuristic and expressive designs, including the TWA Flight Center and the Gateway Arch. Born in Finland, Saarinen immigrated to the United States as a teenager and became a naturalized citizen in 1940. His work had a significant impact on American architecture, and he was elected a Fellow of the American Institute of Architects.
